DIOR Spring 2011: Greys are in the house!

Ok, today we found out  about the New Dior Spring 2011 Collection. It is not earth shattering, but, unlike Spring YSL collection, very wearable and practical. I am NOT a big fan of bright makeup (even for spring!), so I am more into this collection than in Chanel's or YSL's Spring 2011.

Dior: my fave LIP GLOSSES

Do you like any of these? I should say that Dior makes good lipglosses. I have recently swatched all of their Dior Addict Lip glosses, and here are my faves. Note that some of these are Dior Addict Pearl and some are Dior Addict Flash (more sparkle!). 436 and 576 are pearls and the rest here are 'flash'. Did you try any of Dior Lip glosses? What do you think?

Dior Limited Edition EyePalette 2010

 To give you a preview of my latest Dior Limited Holiday 2010 Eyeshadow palette. It is a black  lacquered package with a Dior pattern imprinted. This beauty comes with a 'D' logo chain attached and four cool, steel-blue colors inside. It comes with a double sponge applicator which has one side for eyeshadow and the other side perfectly suitable for eyeliner application.

Five Golds Daylight

Hiya,

I have uploaded the pics of Five Gold Eyeshadow Palette on Youtube (taken with flash and at nighttime). I have received many requests to show how these shadows look in daylight. In day light, they are still very shimmery and metallic. Depending on your application style, however, you can easily apply just a veil of color and create a stunning day time look. I have not taken pictures of Looks per se, just wanted to show you swatches on lids in daylight (sitting next to the window).

Well, Dior 2011 Makeup Collection is not yet in, but a few of us are anxiously awaiting the arrival. Meanwhile, I stumbled online across the pictures of Dior 2011 Spring Show. The models walking the runway in Dior' 2011 Spring Show, had a bold bright eyeshadows and full brows. I wonder if Dior's Spring 2011 collection will be just as colorful and fresh?

Rouge Dior by Dior: it is all in the formula

Unfortunately for my bank account, I happen to like Dior products and their lip products are not an exception. Dior Rouge by Dior is a family of 32 shades, each inspired by "by the deep, luxurious colors of Dior Haute Couture gowns to reveal all the beauty of triumphant and radiant femininity" according to Dior's website description.

A key ingredient in this formulation  is hyaluronic acid, or more precisely synthetic beads of hyaluronic acid microspheres.This is a compound that naturally present in our bodies. Hyaluronan is found in many tissues of the body, such as skin and cartilage.

Due to its high biological compatibility with human body, it is commonly used in treatments of dry flaky skin and in 2003 FDA had approved the use of Hyaluronan in anti-wrinkle injections.

I am a die-hard DIOR fan...I am DIOR addict. Finally, Sephora has these beauties:
