Hi everyone! I am ScienceBeautiful (aka Tatyana, in 'real' life). I have had a few hobbies throughout the years [ranging from ballet classes at age 6 to painting, piano, and clay-modeling later on--none of it I am proficient in ;-)] but nothing had intrigued me the way that beauty and makeup does. I am not 'proficient' in it, by any means either, but it had been a sheer joy to keep this blog!I also have youtube channel-- ScienceBeautiful.

Q: Are you affiliated with any makeup brands/ or are you a makeup artist by training?
A: No. I am a scientist by profession and self-taught beautyholic.
Q: What is your nationality?
A: I am 100% Russian and was born and raised in Moscow. For the last 8 years, however, I have been living in United States and loving it!
Q: What languages do you speak?
A: Russian and English. I try to do all my youtube videos in both languages, so that it is fair.
Q: How old are you?
A: 25 :-)
Q: Do you support cruelty-free makeup?
A: YES! Absolutely. I use only brands that are cruelty-free. I love all animals and I am against animal cruelty. There are MANY great cruelty-free companies, and, despite the popular misconception, cruelty-free brands can be very affordable! For list of cruelty-free cosmetic companies, see here.
